Proposition 215, or the Compassionate Use Act of 1996, was the California law permitting the use of medical cannabis. It was enacted, on November 5, 1996, by means of the initiative process, and passed with 55.6% votes in favor. Juva Delivery is honored to support the work of Sweetleaf Joe of Sweetleaf Collective. Sweetleaf Collective is exclusively a donation-based charity organization. Since 1996, when the groundbreaking 215 proposition passed in California, they have been providing free medical cannabis to HIV/AIDS and Cancer patients by bicycle delivery in and around the Bay Area. Juva Delivery customers who order flower or pre-rolls will find a special lighter in their bag beginning on 2/15! The lighter’s purchase helped Sweetleaf Collective provide 3.5 grams of medicinal cannabis to a low income terminally ill Californian. Sweetleaf traditionally sells these through dispensaries for $3.00 each; over the past six months, Sweetleaf’s Lighter Fundraiser has enabled the Collective to giveaway over $100,000 worth of compassionate cannabis, compliantly and legally under the new cannabis regulations put into effect by Prop 64! As your local delivery company, we want to offer you a small gift that gives back. You can learn more at www.SweetleafCollective.org. We deliver across the peninsula Tuesday – Saturday to the following communities: San Bruno — Burlingame — San Mateo — Foster City — Hillsdale — Hayward Park — Belmont — San Carlos — Mountain View —Redwood City — Atherton — Menlo Park — Woodside — Portola Valley — Palo Alto — Los Altos Hills
